Fantagio releases a statement regarding the boycott by Korea Entertainment Management Association

On July 26, it was announced by Korea Entertainment Management Association (KEMA) that all of its member agencies will boycott activities that collaborate with Fantagio until they resolve all of their issues from illegally operating under the previous CEO name in accordance with the Act by the Development of the Public Culture and Arts Industry. and their contract disputes with their actors/actresses, Kang Han Na, Im Hyun Sung, Kang Hae Lim and Choi Yoon Ra.

In response to the boycotting by KEMA, Fantagio states;

“The main points are that Kang Han Na and three others first brought up the inadequate registration requirements based on the Act on the Development of the Public Culture and Arts Industry, and as Fantagio has been disqualified as a member of KEMA, it is very burdensome to currently follow the dispute mediation terms through KEMA. Also, Fantagio has faithfully responded to KEMA’s requests until now.”
